Football second division SV Sandhausen and coach Alois Schwartz have extended the contract that expires in June for two more years. This was announced by the club that has not yet been finally saved immediately before the game kicked off against FC Schalke 04. The new contract ends in 2024. When the relegation is reached, the working paper would have been extended by option anyway.

The 55-year-old coach had taken over the Baden-Württemberger for the second time at the end of September and won 34 points in 24 games so far. "Working at SV Sandhausen has long since become a matter close to the heart," said Schwartz in a club announcement.
