"Walking" at Mixed
Karl Geiger struck his thighs and shook his head: the German ski jumpers and ski jumpers did not make it on the podium at the Olympic General Sample of the Mixed Team Competition. Katharina Altars, Markus Eisenbichler, Juliane Earth and Final Springer Geiger had to be beaten on Friday on the large mill head ski jump in Willingen of the winning Slovenian team, Norway and Austria. The third-placed Austrian lacked the tiny of around 60 centimeters at the end.
"I've noticed that the jump was not optimal," Geiger explained his reaction after his second attempt. He was "a bit wrong out," said the 28-year-old and annoyed that the team had to suffer from it: "That has curved me quite." The Geiger leading in the overall World Cup landed after 132.5 and 129 meters.

Stefan Forgather
He and buddy railroads (129.5 and 129 meters) could not shine this time as at the outstanding last weekend with two wins of violinists and two third places of ironbichler in Titisee-Neustadt.
After the first passenger still in third place
"Of course we wanted to make a podium place today," said Men's national coach Stefan Forgather in ZDF. "We knew it is hard." After the first pass, the German team was still in third place behind Norway and Austria.
At the premiere of women on the huge job plant, Altars 126 sprang and 127 meters wide. Earth landed after 111 and 119 meters. The Japanese Yuri Ito had previously shown what is possible in Willingen: The 27-year-old was in training for a long-stop PURPOSE 154 meters wide and thus about the brand of the college record in the men (153 meters).
Despite the non-optimal test, the German team is also one of the favorites in the premiere of the mixed competition at the Olympic Winter Games in China. "We are woken up for the next mixed competition, and then we hope that we talked back in front," said Forgather.
