Crusader Kings 3 arrives on the new generation consoles as adaptation

Crusader Kings 3 finally makes his way to today's new generation consoles. The announcement was made at Gamescom 2021 when Streaming Microsoft XBOX. This will be the first time the franchise will become playable on consoles, with a user interface and refined controls.

The console version of Crusader Kings 3 is under development by LAB42, in partnership with the original developer of the franchise, Paradox Interactive. Although the game is familiar to the fans who played there on PC, he would have features specific to the next generation consoles. For example, the Xbox Series X version will allow players to quickly switch between the Crusader Kings 3 and YouTube game, in case they want to consult tutorials and other information. The PS5 version, meanwhile, will present unique interactions between the stress mechanism of Crusader Kings 3 and the Dualsense controller of the console, which, in turn, will allow players to be more immersed in the tense moment of the gameplay .

As in the PC version of Crusader Kings 3, the players on console can always enjoy the royal plot and ridiculous genealogical trees of the franchise. However, one thing that would be absent from the launch of the game's new generation console is its Northern Lords DLC from the beginning of this year.

The general gameplay of the game are epics of strategy in which the players are responsible for guiding families in medieval times through several generations of war, politics and intrigue. Mosaics of buttons, info-bubbles, icons and menus will be involved, and fans have not yet seen how this translates into a console gaming experience. Paradox and Lab42 will do so, because the game will be refined to bring this great strategy experience to a controller, said Kate Yeager, host Xbox Gamescom.

The crossing of Crusader Kings 3 to the consoles will be only an adaptation and not a direct port, and the modifications made to the title will be limited mainly to the controls and the user interface. This means that change will not be a big redesign of the basic game.
